Process of Investment Casting

Investment casting, or precision casting, creates detailed metal components by coating a wax pattern in ceramic to form a ceramic shell mold . After hardening, the wax is melted, leaving a cavity for pouring the melt in, yielding highly accurate and smooth parts.

The Process of Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, is a manufacturing process that involves the production of intricate components with exceptional surface finishes and precise dimensions. It begins with the creation of a wax pattern, which is an exact replica of the desired part. The pattern is then coated with a refractory ceramic material to form a mold.

Quality steels, heat-treatable steels, nitriding steels, case-hardening steels, tool steels, corrosion-resistant and acid-resistant steels, heat-resistant and ultra-heat-resistant steels.

Finishing:

Mechanical finishing on CNC turning and milling centres (3-axis to 5-axis machining), multitasking machines, surface treatment in our own production facility.

Measurement technology:

3D measurement, photometric measurement using GOM and false colour analysis.

Post-processing:

Heat treatment of cast parts in our own production facility.

Logistics:

Sea freight, rail logistics and air freight.
